Alrighty. Here is Nathaniel the magician and his [un]trusty demon Bartimaeus. They're from the Bartimaeus trilogy (go figure), and this particular pic is from the second book: The Golem's Eye. Nathaniel is 14 I believe...He wears a long trenchcoat for the billowy-cool effect and a tight black suit that he thinks makes him look very posh indeed (and Bartimaeus takes great pains to assure him it does not). Bartimaeus can take many forms, but he prefers young Ptolemy (one of his former masters). He is really sarcastic and funny - Go read the books! I'm thinking of doing a comic of one of the scenes in the book...
Edit: Haha! Silly me...I forgot to mention that the books are by Jonathan Stroud (I think I spelled that right...) and them, the characters, and ideas belong to him. Not me. This one pic is mine. Not the characters or story. We clear? Good. |
